The EURODISEA program is an exchange program of the assembly of the regions of Europe, funded by the European Social Fund. And in the Region of Murcia, it is managed by the Directorate General of Youth.

This program offers internships of three to seven months, abroad, to young people who are looking for work and who are 18 to 30 years old.

The objective is to provide young people with professional experience, at the same time, to give them the opportunity to learn a foreign language or improve their knowledge about it.

Specifically, in Spain there are three communities that participate in this program, Catalonia, Valencia and Murcia.

The young participants receive a salary financed by the ESF, since these are paid work practices, as well as support in the search for accommodation and transport insurance.

Since 2016, Murcian Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, is a participant in the program, presenting job coach offers for people with disabilities, aimed at young psychologists, therapists, social workers and other socio-health professions, as well as a pre-work workshop monitor for people with disabilities in the field of gardening, aimed at young people with training or experience in gardening.

Up to date, our experience with the program is very enriching, as well as that of the two participants who have passed through our Association, between 2016 and 2018, Caroling, who is a psychologist and Robin who is an educator, both of Belgian nationality.

In general, our assessment is very positive, since in addition to adding a professional to the work team, the work environment is enriched with their contributions and their culture.
